As much as I love The Breakfast Club, I'd have to say that my favorite John Hughes film is Ferris Bueller's Day Off. I was Ferris' age when I first saw the movie, and though Broderick was very charismatic in the role, I thought he was a real jerk.

He tells the bedridden Cameron on the phone that this day is for him, but I don't buy it. I've always been of the opinion that the film is really about Cameron, since it's a lot easier for us to relate to him rather than the larger-than-life Ferris.

When Cameron freaks out on the car he exclaims, "My old man pushes me around", which is pretty much what Bueller does to him throughout the whole damn movie. He forces him to come and pick him up in the shitbox, he forces him to pose as Sloane's dad on the phone with Rooney and then worst of all, despite Cameron's pleading, he takes out his dad's ridiculously expensive car.

Danke Schoen my ass. Ferris was a dick.

One of the only things that keeps me sane ( and drives me insane ) late at night while I am working is Coast to Coast , with George Noory . You can listen to it on MOJO radio here , from 10 PM til about 5 or 6 AM ( sadly yes , I have listened to entire shows )
Everything from sasquatch , to aliens to the Knights Templar are discussed in depth .
My favorite being the ghost stories .
Now wether any of this is true , half the time the stories are so fabulous it doesn't even matter becuase it is so entertaining .

Hello F.F's.. I got a question for you. I watched a movie sometime again with this guy over here. He plays a detective that get's hooked on heroine. They keep locked up and he jones for the drug. I never got the tittle but it looks like its around the time of the French Connection. Could it be French Connection 2 ?

My Movie Moment

So I saw this movie again yesterday and thought 'Hey, wonder what some of my exes are doing...that was such a great flick...' so I went on the Google tip (I'm not about to actually call anyone) and started up.

I quit after the first tap on the Googlied 'search'. When I was with this girl almost a decade ago(in BC) she was in track meets and teaching at a dance studio...she's changed. A lot. She's the blonde in this here clip.

TALES OF TERROR displays great jerkiness. In the episode THE BLACK CAT, Vincent Price and Peter Lorre square off in a wine tasting contest. They both play great roles, Price the dandy and Lorre the lush.

Lorre plays an abusive husband to a hot wife. He makes unlikely friends with Price who ends up sleeping with his wife. Lorre gets angry and buries them behind a brick wall. His prick of a cat rats him out to the cops.

Typical Roger Corman fare, but the true gem of this movie is the chemistry between Lorre and Price. They must have f*cked around all the time when they were on set. Listen to Lorre cause he adlibs so much through out dishing it to everyone. What a JERK!

Get to see the movie just for this episode of the trilogy. It's worth it!
